CAM Shell Exhibition - the first of its kind in Maldives!

Conchology Association of Maldives (CAM) is a registered association in the Maldives, addressing for anyone with an interest in shells and mollusks - an interest which may include study and collecting of shells as well as their conservation.

CAM aims to bring together people who are keen to learn about shells, those who are educated about shells and to collect information about it and educate other people.

In this first exhibition we are showcasing 400 specimens found in Maldives and also from other regions.

We have worked on including the super families of the main class, Gastrapods. Visitors will have the opportunity to see some 'very rare' specimens as well as many common specimens from around the world.

It is our sincere hope that this exhibition will expand the knowledge and create the love and curiosity to learn more about the gifts of nature in its pure form.
